UCSF Fresno Pharmacy Education Program

By bringing pharmacy students to the area to complete their rotations, the UCSF School of Pharmacy and UCSF Fresno hope to attract future pharmacists to practice and settle in the Central Valley. In addition, the program is working to attract local students into the profession of pharmacy. The UCSF Fresno Pharmacy Education Program received its first six incoming students during June 2002. Plans are to expand the program to sixteen to twenty students over the next five years.
