To present results from a study of the chemistry, zoology and botany of the Merced watershed and honor the students who completed the study |

On Friday, May 20, 2005 the UC Merced School of Natural Sciences will be hosting a reception for Merced High School students who participated in a study of the Merced watershed. This study was funded by a $10,000 dollar grant that was awarded to Merced High School from Toyota.
The students collected data from several sites around the Merced area and were grouped into 3 categories: chemistry, zoology and botany. The results from their observations will be presented at the reception in the atrium of the UC Merced building at Castle.
