UC Merced Sponsors Zero-Emission Vehicle Visit

The vehicles -- made by DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, General Motors, Toyota, and Volkswagen - will visit the region as part of the Fuel Cell Partnership's "Rally Thru the Valley." The program is an outreach and public awareness effort to promote the development of zero-emission fuel cell vehicle technology as an alternative to combustion engines, which create hydrocarbon and particulate emissions.
